hearing aid compatible cell phone?

Mauro Cowee: If your hearing aid is compatible, consider the Starket Eli. It's a Bluetooth add on to a BTE hearing aid. It's very hard to find a perfect hearing aid / cell phone pairing, since cell phones put out a lot of energy that can mess up hearing aids. Bluetooth may be your answer.

Cliff Jacoby: Cingular offers a special line of phones called HAC (hearing aid compatable) phones. You would be surprised how many they make. You usually want to call ahead first to a couple of stores in your area because they have limited quantities. Two phones that I would especially recommend for your situation and with hearing loss ( i lost a majority of my hearing in the army so i know) is the sony ericcson line of z phones, or the nokia flip camera phone. both are great and provide blisteringly loud sound quality. stay clear of anything motorola, especially with hearing problems...Show more

Hilton Paiva: This may seem like a dumb answer, but have you tried using a hand! s free ear piece that goes inside your ear? You may be able to remove your hearing aid and use this while talking on the phone. One such as the one in this link has a volume control on it, so you can crank up the sound.http://www.mogiz.com/Pages/ViewProduct.aspx?Produc...
