Julienne Poplawski: I honestly never knew gifted kids or people with phobia and what not were in SE. This may sound ignorant and I apologize, but I thought it was all kids that were autistic or something. Well thank you for teaching me something new(: I don't really have an opinion on them. Being in a different class doesn't make you any more or less of a human being(:
Mack Ukich: um, yeah, a lot of people do have something against special ed.no offense (honestly) but when i head someone say "special ed" the first thing i think of is mentally retarded kids.but its good that you know thats not what its all about
Salvatore Walls: There is nothing wrong with being in Special Education. Those kids probably left because they were afraid of being labeled as a "Special Education" student since that also refers to the ones who are mentally disabled, which is an awful reason to not go into something that could be so useful/helpful to you.
Hobert Dula: Some people ! just don't understand why those kids are in those types of classes. You are different but not in a bad way. You need a different environment than other kids do. If you start the class and later decide you can join with the other classes then that is your choice when it comes up. Not everyone is the same and not everyone needs the same attention, or even leans at the same speed or in the same way. Simple as it sounds nothing is wrong with you or any of the other kids in those classes. I think your the lucky ones for having a small class and having closer attention from the instructors....Show more
Efren Clankscales: Special Education is a good thing. You get more attention. Which is good. My mom works in a special ed class with learning handicapped children.
