Are Video Games a sport??

Bo Perham: If you are looking for the best graphical and adventure experience then go for a PS2 game. PS is a better platform for those two features. If you want a more quirky fun experience go for the DS as it uses the touch screen feature. I will leave the rest up to you......Show more

Edwina Fu: I just bought the Good vs Evil edition from Newegg. What are the best servers to play on? Anyone here that plays want to be friends in game? I plan on making heroes and at least 1 villian, are there any people in supergroups that will let me join? I have windows live messanger, contact me at rpgjunkie2006@hotmail.com or email me at the same address.

Norma Marsalis: The Nintendo Wii might change things because you acually move your arms and get some exercise. Alot of people have tournements and play for cash! There is even a T.V. show on G4 tech TV that showcases people in comptition! It may not be a sport quite yet but it might get there in the future.

Elino! re Schlinker: i cant find it anywhere so im willing to download it even if i have to pay...thanks

Randa Hessell: sorry i ment to say the game capcom classics collection reloaded. not remixed

Charissa Bichsel: no they're not

Travis Sherrock: try this link&scroll to the bottom, http://www.pspiso.us/psp-iso-downloads/capcom-clas...

Lawana Neemann: no.

Peter Lapoint: If anyone's seen any demos, or played either, these are the 2 platforms I own and I want to go rent the game.

Jamika Gregorio: Nope. It's not a sport. No physical activity in it. (By that, I mean moving your feet and arms). It's simply fingers. Now if you wanted to say a Dance Dance Revolution Tournament, then you might have had me change my mind.

Scot Sepulbeda: Is watching TV a sport? When you play games it is as watching TV but you have more interaction by controlling what goes on. For all the people who play, say, first person shooters. Lets see them take a real r! ifle and perform the shots they do on a TV in a scripted envir! onment. Or do what they do in sports games as football or basketball. Sure a few could do so, but a majority it isn't happening. I find those Major Gaming League stuff to be just merely contests and not so much a sport. It is like watching Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune, those are not sports. They are merely game shows as is playing a video game that happens to be up against other people for money. Not a sport....Show more

Shelley Stevens: attempt making use of around all over the city. some icons perchance too fdar away to be seen from you area. so as a result if u rigidity concerning the icons could be clearer to work out OR if the mansion on the map is the sole icon then thats the sole project open to you for now besides

Abraham Ladick: well not really because sports are more active and video games are like not really so there not that would be my answer

Mahalia Brindle: Go to http://pspdownloadsnet.com Good luck!

Ariel Arons: No, video games are n! ot a sport, they are an activity.

Oscar Waddups: go 4 the ps2 demo...they are much better

Angelyn Ducas: their no wear near a sport then something you do in your free time just to keep u entertain I beat my games really easy even the hard game I beat so I find video games just to be amusing and entaining and fun to play when I'm bored

Freddy Shutler: Basically all you have to do is look at the dictionary definition of 'sport' to clarify whether video gaming can be considered one:an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive natureNotice it says 'athletic' which does not include sedentary activities such as sitting in front of a TV/computer (DDR and some Wii games could be thought of as more sport-like). Now I fully support video game tournaments and pro gamers but it should be considered a competitive activity instead of a sporting/athletic activity. Nothing rigorously physical is involved in playing Halo 2, except f! or moving your thumbs. So no, video games are not a sport but are more! of an activity (or a non-physical game considering the name of the things are video 'games') consisting of interactive entertainment....Show more

Carmina Stickney: It matters about the disk. Some are not. Some are.

Oscar Waddups: I run an SG on Pinnacle server. I like how populated it is. There is always someone to play with, but it's not packed like some. If you insist on RPing, Virtue server is most tolerant of that style of play. There are lots of ways to be "friends" ingame. When you get ingame feel free to send a global tell to @Doheny (/t @Doheny, message) and I'll send you to someone good. I'm almost exclusively on Pinnacle server, myself.

Erin Arron: No. It's not a sport at all. You are not sweating or even moving around for it to be a sport.

Cordia Fivecoat: sport: an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature.athletic: physically active.physically: of or pertaining to the body.active: having the po! wer of quick motion.athletic (again): the use of physical skill or capabilities, as strength, agility, or stamina.agility: the ability to think and draw conclusions quickly; intellectual acuity.skill: the ability, coming from one's knowledge, practice, aptitude, etc., to do something well.So yes, by definition video games are indeed a sport....Show more

Wilmer Skidmore: harry potter 4 wasa the best because you got to participate in the "international game thing". my favorite . graphics were good 2

Oda Mauson: depends on the video game. generally video games aren't a sport though because there isn't enough rigorous physical activity. but then again...golf is a sport, not to put it down.
