Kiersten Clayburn: We take the bus about 3 days out of 5. of course, my experience won't equate to yours because I'm not in Cleveland, but there are, like everything, good points and bad.GoodIt's way cheaper than driving and parking (for us, and you too by the sound of it)Walking to and from the bus stop is good exercise and it's nice to see the outdoors and greet the neighboursYou can read on the bus, or do work and I often catch up with colleaguesIt's better for the environment and I enjoy that smug feeling of 'doing my bit'.BadGetting rained onMissing the wretched thing - if there are fewer people at the previous stops then it's faster.Being constrained to a precise timetable, you can't get to work half an hour early and knock off ten minutes early. It is slower, door to door, than a carEnforced listening to other's music or conversations. Particulalrly gruesome when students on a Monday morning are discussing their weekend. TMI! TMI!Our bus is pretty reliable, it's at ! our stop at 8:35 plus/minus five minutes. Of course those five minutes can be quite vital .......Show more
Joie Kemmis: take the bus/millions do
Arnulfo Seegars: Personally, I think that public transportation makes a city. If a city has expensive transportation, it is not an efficient way. In europe, the transportation rocks because they have the metro that comes every 3 minutes and cheap buses and trains that cover all of europe.
