Hermina Ketring: this question is like asking someone what the best car out there for the best price. It is all about preference. Do you want quality or so you want loudness. how much are you willing to pay for the quality etc. etc.
Tillie Wynott: Both of those answers are terrible. There is never truly a best because everyone likes different sounds. BUT, generally most can agrre that there are top brands out there. I'm going to list brands for sound quality purposes not how loud it is. For speakers: Dynaudio, DLS, Morel, Focal, Boston Acoustics, Image Dynamics, OZ Audio, Diamond Audio, Polk SR series, Alpine Type X, Zapco, and a few others. For subwoofers: Image Dynamics, JL Audio, Focal (only K2P and Utopia series), Polk SR series, Diamond Audio etc. The main subwoofers used in sound quality competition are Diamond Audio and JL W6. My personal preference is Image Dynamics. For amplifiers: Mcintosh, Zapco, JL Audio, Focal, Brax, ARC Audio etc. Hope this helped s! ome....Show more

And some that is priced into the stratosphere.What you want is what sounds good to you at a price you can afford, and that fits your vehicle.There are many reputable and trusted brands in car audio. Alpine, Infinity, Rockford-Fosgate, Kicker, JBL, Boston Acoustics, Polk Audio, JVC, MTX, Kenwood, and Pioneer. They generally have a good mix from entry-level up to higher quality, better sounding, higher priced products.There are manufacturers of "high-end" car audio like JL Audio, RE, Morel, Focal, and U.S. Amps.There's also a lower end of suppliers, really importers or marketers that sell mostly based on inflated ratings and really low prices. Bos! s, Pyle, Lanzar, Legacy, and Visonik fall into this category.A! lpine has an excellent combination of selection, quality, reliability, value, and price for everything needed, head units, speakers, amplifiers, sound processors, and subwoofers. Kicker and Rockford-Fosgate have excellent speakers, amps, and subs. Likewise Boston Acoustics and Infinity.
